HOW MAY I SUBMIT A GRANT PROPOSAL OR REQUEST?
Applications and proposals are by invitation only. Please read the McNair Foundation’s grant information to see if your organization is eligible to be invited.
WHAT DOES THE MCNAIR FOUNDATION FUND?
The McNair Foundation invests in programs that strengthen Houston as a place of opportunity, innovation, resilience and community vitality. Specifically, we support education, medical research, human services, cultural arts and civic assets.
DOES THE MCNAIR FOUNDATION BUY TABLES AT EVENTS/GALAS?
No, The McNair Foundation does not buy tables. The Foundation has chosen to focus its philanthropic efforts on significant, strategic investments in order to create the most impact.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT THE MCNAIR FOUNDATION?
Emails related to the Foundation’s charitable giving initiatives may be sent to info@mcnairfoundation.org. Requests for business investment, loans, funding for individuals or non-charitable endeavors will not receive a response. CAN THE FOUNDATION SUPPORT A BUSINESS OR INDIVIDUAL?
The Foundation is unable to support for profit businesses or individuals. Requests for business investment, loans, funding for individuals or non-charitable endeavors will not receive a response.
HOW CAN SOMEONE BE CONSIDERED FOR A MCNAIR SCHOLARSHIP?
The McNair Foundation is not involved in reviewing or endorsing scholarship applications and does not fund individual scholarship recipients. The scholarships are selected by the recipient universities and are based on extraordinary academic achievement, qualities of leadership, talent, responsibility and service to others.
